Sapney dard dete hain, jab sapney toot jaate hain

Vaado ka nahi koi bharosa vaade toot jaate hain

Sapney dard dete hain

Ye ishk to yaaro ek juaa hai, dewaano ko dard mila hai

Har kadam pe hai bas dhokha, Sacchi chahat milti kahna hai

Apne dil ki khushiyon ko to apne loot jaate hain

Sapney dard dete hain

Umar bhar ka nahi koi sahara, dil ke ghum se ye dil hara

Chalti hai jab ghum ki aandhi, kar lete hain log kinara

Ghum ki kaali raato main to saaye chooth jaate hain

Sapney dard dete hain

Aarmaano pe lagi hai bandish, dil ki rahi na koi khwaahish

Tanhayi ka hai bas aalam, mahphill se to hui hai ranjish

Ishk ka rog jo lag jaye to naseeba foot jaate hain
