raat ki khamoshi bhi kya gazab dha gayi
teri sanso ki sargam ko meri
sanso se mila gayi
tere dil ka dharkana suna maine , apne dil ki
dharkano se
tere adharo ki mohar, mere badan par laga gayi
kal
raat ki khamoshi bhi kya gazab dha gayi

tut kar payaar karte hue
tujhe dekha maine
shama ki tarah khud ko pighalte hue dekha maine
kal
raat ki tanhayi yeh kya kahani suna gayi
kal raat ki khamoshi bhi
kya gazab dha gayi

subah uth kar jab dekha jab aaeina
apni
ankho mein tera hi chalkata payaar dikha
thi meri ankho mein gujari
raat ki chamak
yeh dekh kar main khud hi sharma gayi
kal raat ki
khamoshi bhi kya gajab dha gayi
