gaye dino me mohabat mizaj uska tha
magar kuch aur hi andaaz aaj uska tha

main kya bataun k kyun us ne bewafai ki
magar yehi k kuch aisa mizaaj uska tha

hamain ß dukh hai dil-e-zinda dil k marnay ka
kisi k pass magar kab elaaj iska tha

lahu lahan tha main aur adal ki meezan
jhuki thi janib-e-qatil k raaj uska tha

tujhe gila hai k dunia ne phair li aankhain
"Faraz" ye to sada se riwaaj iska tha . . .
