Panioon panioon jab chand Ka haala utra
Neend ki jheel pe ik khawab purana utra

Azmiyash main kahan ishq bhi poora utra
Husn ke agay to takdeer ka likha utra

Dhoop dhalnay lagi, deewar se saya utra
Sat’ha Hamwar hoi, Pyaar ka darya utra

Yaad se naam mitta, Zahan se chehra utra
Chand lamhoon main teri nazar se kia kia utra

Aaj ki Shab main parishan hoon to yoon lagta hai
Aaj mehtaab ka chehra bhi hai utra utra

Meri Wahshat ram-e-Aaho se kahien bhar ker thi
Jab meri Zaat main Tanhaye ka sehra utra

ik shab gham ke andheeray pe nahi hai mouqoof
Tu ne jo Zakham lagaya hai wo gehra utra
