ajab saa unkahaa sa bolta hai
teri aankhon ka lehja bolta hai

muhabbat kar rahaa hai? kon jaanay
HAmesha say adhoora bolta hai

khirad gum sum agar hai to bataao
junoon-e-naa rasaa kiya bolta hai

fareb-e-raah par bhee to nazar kar
k sun yeh rah'numaa kiya bolta hai

nahin bachnay ka koi zulm-parwar
yeh mausam ka ishara bolta hai

woh garchay bolta hai kam magar woh
hamesha hee anokha bolta hai

koi guzra hai tujh saa mushk-paikar
sabaa ka yeh saraapa bolta hai

tamanna-e-husool-e-naa rasaayee??
yeh tera mud-d-aa kiya bolta hai?

tumheen to maahtaab-e-anjuman ho
suno to har sitaara bolta hai
